The news house buyers have all been waiting for! Rishi Sunak has announced that the Stamp Duty Holiday will be extended for another three months. Nobody will pay Stamp Duty up to £500,000 until the end of June.
From June, the first £250,000 of the purchase price will be exempt from the tax, before the allowance returns to its pre-pandemic level of £125,000 from the start of October.
