So, why Handbridge? There are a number of reasons, really. It’s so close to the city centre that you’re essentially in the middle of everything. Shops, bars, restaurants, offices, all within a short walk or bus journey. However, you’re also in a particularly laidback and quiet neighbourhood so you feel a little bit more relaxed than if you were to reside right in the city. That’s the great thing about Handbridge: it’s the best of both worlds.

There are lots of schools nearby and one of the main high schools in Chester is actually based here. So, if you’ve got kids ready for high school, they’ll easily be able to walk every day. And what could be better than that?

In terms of weekend entertainment, you’ll be able to enjoy the local pubs and cafes to your heart’s content – there are many to discover. We particularly love Meltdown for cheese toasties and Brown Sugar for a coffee. But really, the list goes on and on. And if that’s not enough… simply take a stroll over the Old Dee Bridge to enjoy Chester at its finest.
